Health visitors

mums and dads

Every child in Swindon under the age of five years will have a health visitor.  If you have a young baby, you should have met your health visitor or a member of the health visiting team.

On 6 September 2010, health visitors will be changing the way they work.  They will still be available to help with any issues or worries you have about your young family.  The only change is that they will keep to a more local area of the town, so you may find your health visitor has changed.

One way to meet your new team is to go along to the nearest Well Baby Clinic.  Details of clinics and opening times.

Go to our breastfeeding pages in the Your Life section for help and advice.  There is also information about support groups such as Breastmates in your local area.

Please be patient with us, as we change our service.  If you don’t get through straightaway, please try again.
