NHS Swindon works with several local organisations to provide services for the residents of Swindon and Shrivenham. Our residents benefit from the expertise provided by these services who work in partnership with each other.
These are our key providers of services:
Community Health and social care services are now provided by SEQOL, a Care and Support Partnership Community Interest Company.
The PCT and Borough Council already have a long and successful history of delivering integrated care and of establishing partnerships with other local pubic services and private and voluntary agancies. The new social enterprise will continue this approach to community working and will have increased flexibility in how it shapes services, to meet future demands and to support individual's choice and control in the treatment, care and support they access.
Swindon Borough Council
We have developed a strongly integrated relationship with Swindon Borough Council. By integrating our community teams we have been able to sustain a whole system of effective health and social care to support people with long-term conditions.
This has meant that we are able to develop more effective communications allowing for better quality interventions, better planning of services and more effective use of our resources. More information¬
