The NHS Swindon communications team is responsible for helping you understand local health care and what it means to you and your family. The team promotes ways you can improve your health by making the most of local NHS support services.
We do this through:
- Answering media enquiries and sending out press releases so you can find out about our services by reading the newspaper, listening to the radio or watching the television
- Planning marketing, including producing posters, leaflets and advertising
- Meeting you at public events
- Giving you up-to-date information on the website.
The communications team is also responsible for sending out messages to all staff who work at NHS Swindon, including GPs, staff working with you in the community and office staff. They also keep in close contact with local partners including Swindon Borough Council, so we can all ensure that your health is high on everyone’s agenda.
If you would like to speak to a member of the Communications Team, please call us on 01793 444687. Alternatively please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
