NHS Swindon employs over 1000 staff working across a wide range of clinical and non clinical services.

The human resources department is responsible for providing a service to NHS Swindon leading on all human resources/personnel issues ensuring best practice in workforce management and development and employee relations.

There are a significant number of human resources policies; procedures and guidance available about training, recruitment and retention; work/life balance; flexible working; health and safety; communication with staff; contracts and diversity.

There are also policy documents on disciplinary procedures, grievances, sickness and absence management, equal opportunities, harassment, bullying and discrimination and pay and pensions.
